“I wrote this song and MV treatment to help tell the story about the night I asked myself to save my own life. To come take me home. I never knew quite how to tell this story until I found Lola. I think this why I am so connected to the character Sheva on Paradise City. I wasn’t just playing a role - I was re-living it. Sheva for me has the drive, fire and passion of Lola but the heartbreak and rage of Juliet. Her triumph at the end of season 1 of Paradise City is where Lola saw herself in the stars so many years before. Lola is my child self and first alter ego, and after letting her back in I can say that years of sobriety have truly changed me. I’ve only lived a short time on this earth, but have accumulated enough memories, experiences, turmoil, redemption, and salvation to fill many lives. Lola came to me through the dark and told me “you can and you will” and that’s how she saved my world. And from the shedded past - Lilith Czar would rise.”
