Got a bit behind on #The100DayProject videos, so I'm backtracking a bit, but Day 64 involves creating a custom virtual drumkit for a client out of samples I had in my own library.

You can use Kontakt in most DAWs to create a virtual drumkit, which can be really interesting in terms of creating a different vibe or dynamics for a track. For this, I combined samples from Kontakt's onboard library (funk kit, jazz kit) and layered it with a church snare found in Heavyocity Damage's Epic Organic samples. Really a lot of fun to put together.
