Angelo delivers yet another storming stomping Northern Soul smash. In my over 48 years of producing records, I am thrilled that I can still deliver a stone classic like this. Angelo is of course Edwin Starr's younger brother, and he has fought to keep Edwin's inheritance alive. We have now released five vinyl 45s on him, STAND ON MY OWN TWO FEET, CONQUER THE WORLD, LOVE'S THE KEY, ANOTHER LONELY CHRISTMAS IN THE MOTOR CITY, and now this one, GUILTY OF A LOVE ATTACK, on the brand new Detroit City label. When I go into the recording studio to make a new record, my greatest possible aspiration could only ever be to try to make a record as good as this. For me it is simple pure perfection. It encapsulates, in one three minute song, everything I have ever wanted to achieve musically my entire life, and I am truly satisfied with it. Angelo was managed by Edwin's manager, Lillian Kyle, who sadly passed away, and he is simply the epitome of a classic soul singer. He also leads "The Team", who used to be Edwin's backing group, and are constantly performing up and down the country. We are so proud to have released his five spectacular singles, and we all hope this will become a runaway hit. It is so infectious that it deserves to become a worldwide smash.
