#junglemusic #ambientmusic #atmosphericdnb here are a couple of test tracks i ran through the s3kXL's disc recorder function. the concept: record a track to the 3k's HD via the analog inputs (can boost the rec gain), adjust the speed with akai's varispeed feature, apply 3k's internal FX (if you desire), and bounce it out to the DAW. doing this, you're taking advantage of the 3k's nice AD/DA and a bit extra by using the varispeed feature to speed it up or slow it down. these tracks were just bounced into the 3k from renoise (just playing the "mastered" wav files), adjusted in the 3k, and then bounced back out; no external fx/dynamics.
