The opening titles segment from our video production for the Goth City virtual Ravenspurgh Festival - the full playlist of which can be found here and features many amazing bands - Also this was a fundraiser for the RNLI so please consider donating some money.
These opening titles added after the fact for our full production ( ) aim to capture the feel of a old horror movie from say the 60s or 70s when the film had a certain washed out blue tinged feel to it. Thankfully Davinci Resolve has just the right filters for that!
The music was created many years ago for an Australian film that never got made called Pray for Dawn and was inspired by the likes of Escape from New York by John Carpenter. The certificate shown was based on one seen at the front of The Devil Rides Out from 1968
We like to think this proved rather effective. Some of the aerial drone shots are cheekily stolen from elsewhere..
The 'Demon Church' in question is abandoned St Botolph's church in Lincolnshire which is often called The Demon Church and linked to Satanist rituals and all manner of hauntings etc in its abandoned state.
We also added a tiny bit of our own fiction to the story of the church.
