"Cuando nuestros mayores temores nos dominan, cuando el miedo nos paraliza, cuando aquello que sentíamos como un refugio se enrarece hasta atemorizarnos, ahí es donde "Critical Hits" de Goddesque se sitúa. Como una neblina que cubriera lo otrora amado, se nos plantean cinco cortes en los que se entremezcla el trip-hop, el industrial y el dark ambient, recordando a un Akira Yamaoka en estado de gracia. Aun así, como en cualquier buen ejercicio de atmósferas, siempre hay una espacio para ver la luz, aunque esta haya sido martilleada hasta la extenuación por la atenazante presencia de un mundo hostil y sofocante."

"When our greatest fears dominate and paralyze us, when what we felt as a refuge becomes alien to us, that's where Goddesque's "Critical Hits" falls. Like a mist covering what was once loved, we are presented with five tracks in which trip-hop, industrial and dark ambient are intermingled, reminiscent of Akira Yamaoka in a state of grace. Even so, as in any good exercise in atmospheres, there is always a space to see the light, even if it has been hammered to exhaustion by the gripping presence of a hostile and rarefied world."
