🟢 Giving your drums a crystal clear top end (make them shine) doesn’t require complex processing and mixing wizardry. Actually, you can achieve a lot using a simple free equalizer called TDR-SlickEQ.

✅ The trick is all about boosting with a highshelf the 40khz region or what we call the airband. This will result in a gentle lift of the top end that will give the drums this crystal clear or shiny feeling to them.

🔥 TDR-SlikEQ comes with several EQ curves to choose from, try them out for different flavors. My favorite ones are the American and the German.
