Here is a vinyl mix I made recently with electro, Braindance and IDM type records. Some of these are pretty new releases. Definitely not my best mixing, pretty ropey at some points and a near trainwreck that I saved in the nick of time. I was doing most of this in my headphones with a super low monitor late at night. Oh well, I like the majority of the tracks a lot. I accidently stopped the wrong record at one point but by chance it was sort of on beat, so I just kept it in the recording and tried to play it off by stopping it again a couple bars later, sort of like practicing covering your mistakes while playing live. There was one track I played that I didn't like very much, so I edited out most of it and spliced the mix in one spot, but I tried to line it up on beat. I have around 25 more electro/braindance mixes that I have made in the last year that are not on YouTube yet, with all different tracks, I try to use a track only once in a mix so that I can eventually mix all the tracks I like that I own on vinyl, to justify this obsessive vinyl buying habit. Check my other videos for similar and not so similar mixes, they are organized into playlists by styles of mixes. I am into old school old school electro and underground futuristic new school electro, underground acid house, razor blade edits, Moog records, perverted comedy records, Bleeps and Breaks, 90-92 Hardcore, IDM, smooth and sleek Detroit Style techno, and electronic listening music from the beginning to now, as well as some other stuff.
