Us/Connected is the third song on my current album Eclipse...How can you describe the progressive instrumental rock song Us/Connected? A mixture of quiet synth-pop elements paired with almost heavy metal passages in the chorus...
The guitar solo is actually completely improvised and was recorded in one take for both passages (clean and distorted).
Us/Connected describes not only the interpersonal relationship between two people but also the relationship between earth and moon... The moon as the earth's constant companion, but the earth that needs the moon to exist... A love that will one day end with the moon crashing into the earth and ending all life on earth... a bittersweet love...
The instrumental progressive rock album Eclipse was a matter of the heart and there were times when I had serious doubts that I would ever release this album. But I pulled myself together and finished the work. There definitely won't be an album like that in 2025... But others will.
