This is how I install the balancers. A little under 2min of heat and it slides right on without damageing the seal. Heat the inside for a smaller chance of damaging the seal. If you still have oil residue on it, the balancer snout will just barely start to smoke when its ready to go on. About 250 or so degrees. If you have a IR thermometer you can check temp if you want. Slides right on, cools then shrinks bc the crank is a giant heatsink.4.8 5.3 6.0 6.2
