i have a sustain pedal but it doesn't seem to work

it has come to my attention that the glue compressor isn't doing anything

0:00 - no midi input but it's making sound why
0:32 - burp 1
0:49 - long burp
2:52 - burp 3
3:59 - burp 4 (best burp yet)
