I go through 6 different test to determine which of the two cameras produces the best picture:

Test 1: Field Of View
Test 2: Zoom
Test 3: Bokeh
Test 4: Video (auto)
Test 5: Video (manual)
Test 6: Low-Light

I am using the Canon's kit lens (18-55mm F/3.5-5.6)

Sony's Image Dimension: 3840 x 2160

Canon: 18 mega-pixels f/3.5-5.6 18-55mm
Sony: 23 mega-pixels f/2.0 24mm

Canon's Sensor: APS-C (22.3mm x 14.9mm)
Sony's Sensor: 1/2.3"
