The Raves were an amazing band formed in 1964 by Dave and Mike Jimenez in New York City. They issued three singles on Smash between 1967 and 1968, and every single one of their songs is a top-shelf one! I can jump all over to the sound of Think Of Your Love or Mother Nature in a complete transe for hours! Very little known about them but the band seems to have reformed in the 2000s, at least not later than 2015, and without Dave Jimenez.
