On July 23, 2015, the Blues Doctors, an Oxford, MS-based duo, played Calacino's Pizzeria in Beckley, WV. Jerry Zaferatos, one of Adam's students and the owner of Calacino's, is sitting in on harp. His daughter and another patron--the blonde in the foreground--did some serious dancing. It gets pretty hot and heavy halfway through this video!A note from Adam: Jerry has been playing for only two years, and although I have never given him a one-on-one lesson, he has purchased many of my video tutorials and tab sheets from Modern Blues Harmonica. His daily practice regimen--four 30-minute sessions per day--blew me away. His intuitive sense of when to play (and WHAT to play) and when to lay out is a joy to behold. His achievement, in a relatively short period of time, is remarkable. I'm proud! And it was fun having him sit in with the band.
