My new guitar cover is my third Rammstein cover.

This time I have chosen a Rammstein song that I think is very underrated: Liese.

The lyrics of Liese deal with topics such as coercion, rape, power and helplessness... Liese could also be a metaphor that describes the Soviet army after the invasion of Germany... As with every Rammstein song, the lyrics can be interpreted wonderfully.

You can hear Liese on the album "Liebe ist für alle da" which was released in 2009.

The passages where whistling is used are striking in this song. The whistling was done by the wife of Rammstein's keyboard player Flake.

In my cover version of Liese, the whistling passages are a guitar solo. As always, it is an instrumental cover. It is my version, my interpretation of the song Liese and is intentionally not meant to sound like the original. Not everyone will like it but that's okay.
