Dec. 7, 1910 to Aug.24, 1978The legend lives on because of his Wife, and Vocalist Gia Maione, and their two children, Lena and Louis , Jr. His friend, Sam Butera helped place him on the map as one of the best Lounge Acts in Vegas History, at the Sahara Hotel Lounge in early 50's. While in Vegas a few years ago, I had to go and see this, and imagine what it was like. A Part of Musical History was made there.
