We begin watching the train shove out of Montclair Yard onto the UP Los Angeles Subdivision, proceeding west to serve a lumber plant by CP Hamilton in Pomona. After pulling and spotting centerbeams, the local proceeds east, then south onto the Chino Industrial Lead.
We catch the train pulling empty covered hoppers from Eco Materials Technologies, then continuing into Chino. Once the train clears the switch to the industrial park, it shoves down a street running section on 6th Street. Making a wye move, the train is positioned to serve Weyrick Lumber and Berry Global off Yorba Ave, the furthest the local goes on the Chino branch.
With its south end industrial switching work complete, the train shoves back north on the 6th St street running segment, then pulls to pick up a tank car from California Chemical. With tank car in tow, the train makes the nonstop run north to Pomona, where it runs around and pulls east to Ontario via the Alhambra Subdivison. After clearing the handthrow switch, LOB29 shoves across the Los Angeles Subdivision diamond down the Sunkist Lead to serve 32 Reload Lumber.
With its final customer of the day complete, it retraces its steps back to the Alhambra Sub and shoves into Montclair Yard, where the train will tie up for the day. A pair of EMD GP40-2s, 1414 and 1499, make up power for this local. Thanks for watching!
