Today, we wake up in Arcata California and end our day in Reno Nevada. After completing everything that we wanted to do on the Pacific coast, it was time to start heading back east because at some point we have to get back to work. So today we took state Route 299 through some beautiful mountain scapes that unfortunately were obscured by lots of smoke from the forest fires. After passing through Reading and getting on the highway 44, the air quality got much better however, the scenery wasn’t quite as nice. We eventually left California and arrived in Nevada. I found a place for dinner and a place to lay our heads for the night.
