Фильм посвящён жгучей проблеме современной медицины – СПИДу, заболеванию, вызванному вирусом иммунодефицита человека (ВИЧ).
Диагностика инфекции ВИЧ включает в себя: клинические наблюдения, серологическую диагностику и лабораторные исследования.
У врача по клиническим признакам и эпиданамнезу больного возникает подозрение на заражение пациента ВИЧ. Сыворотка больного направляется на серологическое исследование, которое подтверждает заражение вирусом. Далее принимаются меры по лечению и профилактике распространения инфекции.
Фильм рассчитан на врачей, которые могут встретиться с инфекцией ВИЧ в своей повседневной деятельности.

The film is dedicated to the burning problem of modern medicine - AIDS, a disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Diagnosis of HIV infection includes: clinical observations, serological diagnostics and laboratory tests.
According to the clinical signs and the patient's epidanamnesis, the doctor suspects that the patient is infected with HIV. The patient's serum is sent for serological examination, which confirms infection with the virus. Further, measures are being taken to treat and prevent the spread of infection.
