Working primarily with Ableton Live, Om Unit a.k.a Jim Coles will be sharing some of the ideas and processes he's gathered over some 26 years of music production experience. You will cover technical areas such as Sampling, Synthesis, Mixing, Mastering, and Hardware & Software integration, while developing genuinely useful techniques to generate interest in your productions and help you find your own sonic identity.
Jim has over 10 years experience as an educator and has developed a teaching style that can be adapted to any level of experience. Applicants for this course should have at least a basic understanding of electronic music production.
