Glam rock is a style of rock music that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s and was performed by musicians who wore outrageous costumes, makeup, and hairstyles, particularly platform shoes and glitter. This video contains music clips from glam rock artists as defined by Wikipedia. These are mostly 70s artists with a few 80s artists sprinkled in. There are some surprise singers in some of these bands who made it bigger later in other bands. A few of the artists had glam moments if not really considered true glam artists (i.e. Elton John, Rod Stewart). This list came straight from a list of glam rock artists as defined by Wikipedia.
