The City recently hosted the “Kicking Off” Ceremony for the Dowdy Community Center project. This fun-filled event marks the start of renovations to the
former Florida National Guard Armory Building, which will be transformed into a new community center as part of the General Obligation Bond.
Renovations will include the creation of an indoor sports facility with basketball courts, batting cages and soccer goals. The facility will also have ADA compliant restrooms, office space, meeting rooms and a storage area. Enjoy watching a highlight video from the event!
