This video is a collaboration with Leaf Audio. Leaf Audio reached out to me to inquire if I would be interested in using the Soundbox to create something and initially I said no... just kidding. Of course I immediately said YES!!! I am so happy to have received one to create.
The Microphonic Soundbox MK2 by Leaf Audio is a beast of a machine with incredible creative possibilities. This entire video was produced using the Soundbox. For the bass drum and bowing I used the Leaf Audio contact mic. The mic preamps in the soundbox combined with the contact mic make for quite the combination to capture subtleties that would otherwise be difficult to attain.
