A small offering for the new year.
I have spent the last couple of weeks on Kaurna land in South Australia.

The last fluent speaker of the Kaurna language was a woman called 'Ivarti' meaning "gentle misty rain" also know as Princess Amelia. There is a lot of ambient sound on this recording as it was early in the morning and the birds were busy and the mic is not close (due to not having a mic stand here.) The piece is in standard tuning on a six string guitar. Any particularly large mosquitos you can see have got fat on my blood during the recording -you may occasionally see me grimace through the pain!
