Sony Pictures has made a lot of Spider-Man movies in the past two decades, and in that time we've seen the webslinger traverse his share of cinematic ups and downs. From the highs of Spider-Man 1 & 2 with Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, to the lows of the next three films, despite the admirable efforts of Andrew Garfield. And then back came some exciting new heights with the introduction of Tom Holland as Spidey in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and seeing him take his iconic place as one of the Avengers. Then there was Spider-Verse, arguably one of the best movies of them all. And if Sony learned anything from Spider-Verse, it's that the only thing cooler than one Spiderman ... is more Spidermans ... So look out Marvel's darling ensemble films like Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame, who needs a team with Captain America and Iron Man, when you have a hero who can just interact with different iterations of himself to rake in the big bucks!
