In my last video I make a track that I hated and almost just threw away but decided to be objective about it and do a video analysis of why I thought it was bad. Here's a link to that one:
6 tracks of sequencer based audio can be rather limiting sometimes but I think that's why I like the challenge of trying to make something that sounds bigger than the sum of its parts on this synth. For years I had very little money for music equipment so I got pretty good at taking whatever meager resources I had and trying to push them as far as they would go and I got pretty good at it. I think that's why I like these simple, budget friendly machines. It takes me back to that place.
Another Lesson learned this time: Don't try to make this box sound like something it's not. It's got a rather specific sweet spot of tones so I'm leaning into that to exploit what it does best.
Thanks for watching.
