Boléro de Nöel / Suzanne Welters (1969). Esta pieza combina magistralmente el famoso “Boléro” (1928) de Maurice Ravel (1875–1937) con el popular villancico “El tamborilero” (1941), escrito por Katherine K. Davis (1892-1980). Suzanne Welter es una saxofonista, educadora, compositora y arreglista, que tiene muy presente el humor en sus clases y conciertos, así que no es de extrañar que por este motivo tenga por lema “con una sonrisa, todo en la vida es más fácil”. Su primera composición de Navidad, “Christmix”, un divertido popurrí de “Noche de Pau” y la “Pantera Rosa”, tuvo mucho éxito a nivel mundial, por lo cual continuó escribiendo composiciones con humor. Una de sus últimas composiciones navideñas es precisamente el “Boléro de Noël”.

Boléro de Nöel / Suzanne Welters (1969). Suzanne Welters is a professional saxophonist and piano performer. She is also a teacher, composer and arranger, and the conductor of the youth orchestra of her home-town band. She always like humor in teaching and in concerts, so she thinks that "with a smile everything goes easier in life" (she has a huge smiley of 3 meters in her front yard, so people smile when they walk by). Her first Christmas composition was "Christmix": a piece that mix-up in a funny way the famous Christmas song "Silent Night" with the bass line of the "Pink Panther". This piece became a huge succes all over the world, so she continued writing compositions with humor. One of her latest Christmas compositions is "Boléro de Noël". In this piece she combines the famous "Boléro" of Ravel with the famous Christmas song "The Little Drummer Boy".
