Lyn Jerrard recorded several wonderful tracks for us. These were GUARANTEE OF A LIFETIME, MAN SIZED LOVE, SHADOWS OF A FOOL, and ME MINUS YOU EQUALS TEARS. Here today, on this video, the powerhouse voice of Lyn Jerrard sings her forthcoming limited edition 45, "Man Sized Love", a sizzling piece of unashamed, disco, up tempo, melodic classic style, Detroit Northern Soul. One of our other singers, Delroy Pinnock, first recommended Lyn to Centre City Records. A big diva with a great big voice, her first song GUARANTEE OF A LIFETIME was premiered on BBC 6 Music and got rave reviews. Centre City Records then went on to produce a video of that song, that captured the quintessence of forty years of Northern Soul. But her second single was the one to really hit home. Northern Soul DJ, Natalie Harrison, truly championed SHADOWS OF A FOOL, with its glorious Motownesque fragility, paying homage to the late great MARY WELLS in style. I made a carver for Natalie of "Man Sized Love", and she has been hammering it to her adoring public on her weekly podcasts.
