The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) may offer programming similar to other major New York City theaters. But the mission of this configurable gathering space is distinct.Situated on the World Trade Center campus, PAC NYC is a place of civic healing. The facility offers “a stage for every story” through three performance spaces that flexibly combine or divide into over 60 configurations.
Engineering experts from The Chicago Flyhouse, Inc. and ELPLANT ensured the theaters could support dynamic and safe set changes using PC-based control and EtherCAT technologies from Beckhoff. This flexibility enables PAC NYC to focus on making magic.
