Got a bit of a live broadcasting project coming up for Radio Foxton, so I thought we would do it in style. I pulled out this Sony C-37A large diaphragm condenser mic gave it a test. Although it probably dates back to the 1960's and likely hasn't been powered up for well over a decade, it turned out to be fully operational and had really good sound quality.
I reckon that this is the finest mic we have in our collection. That's saying something considering we also have some RCA DX series mics.
