O'Bryan, (real name O'Bryan Burnette) originally from North Carolina, who grew up in California, had a few hit singles in the 1980s such as 'Lovelite', 'Gigolo', 'Breakin Together', 'Soul Train's A Coming', and 'Tenderoni' and he released four albums between 1982 and 1986. His short success was attributed to the late Don Cornelius, former host of Soul Train, who helped O'Bryan in his career initially in producing jis albums on Capital Records. Coincidently, O'Bryan recorded the Soul Train theme song, 'Soul Train's A Comin' that was used by the hit TV show from 1983 to 1987. O'Bryan left the music scence for almost twenty years and returned in 2007 with the release of his album.
