0:10 Hayden Calnin - Alright Now
This song speaks to being okay with all the weirdness around you. Rather than avoiding it, I’ve found it’s often better to accept it and ride along with it. There’s also a realisation that you can’t talk to everyone about everything – stigma is a real thing and it exists around the globe on a range of topics, but it’s nice knowing that there’s a few people with whom I can talk to about the weirder side of life. It’s a gentle song, and hopefully it brings some calm to those who hear it.
03:29 Brook St - Feel It All (Willow's Song)
We wrote this song for our daughter Willow before she was born. The lyrics tell simple truths we hope our daughter will grow up knowing.
06:27 Rod Coote - The End
This song is about the ending of a season in my life and then allowing space for new things to flow into my life.
09:52 Northwest Stories - See the Sunrise
This song is about learning to adapt to challenging situations and to persevere through the darkest of times.
12:50 Cal and Ally - Next time
This song is about Moving on from a relationship.
15:14 Tim McNary - We're All Better
A positive, inspirational song thanking those who selflessly help and care about others.
18:41 Gert Taberner - All My Friends
This song is about feeling so completely removed from the lives of those around you after seeing your own reality change so much that it feels like there’s less things that bind you to the people you care about. It’s a song about recognizing that while there is a lot of love for and from the people I was surrounding myself with at the time, there was also a stark incessant feeling of otherness, of being out of place. All My Friends is an attempt at trying to balance both of those emotions, and the helplessness that comes with that.
21:40 Eriff - Loch
This song captures the beauty, solitude, and introspection of his remote home in Galloway.
24:22 The January Lanterns - Didn't Need One Fancy Thing
This song is about a house full of memories, celebrating the simple pleasures, from measuring inches to singing and dancing without needing anything fancy. A heartfelt anthem of timeless, unhurried moments.
28:16 Thaïs Ray - island
Ray, who has a background in law and psychology, wrote her debut single lights are dancing to highlight her journey and inspire people to embrace their inner child.
