“I was really intrigued about the functionality of Stylosette with the alligator clips, so I went for some teaspoons and I created these lovely clicky sounds!”

“Space age doom theremin”

“I recorded a single note from the @stylophone_official Stylosette Keys onto a tape loop from @battery_operated_ and started playing with tape speed — suddenly it sounded like a siren straight from an old Alfred Hitchcock thriller. To take it further, I sent it through the @strymonengineering Cloudburst for a lush, eerie shimmer. Not exactly 80s or 90s, but still deep in the world of creative sound design.”

“It’s often for me about childlike play, welcoming the mistakes, listening to what my gut is telling me and not thinking about who might or might not listen to it later. I like that experimenting with the Theremin can be as much about enjoying movement as it is about producing”.

“It's fun to give a try to learn to play different guitar solos on this little beast even if it seems too difficult!”
