ASITHANDILE GANTANA born 27 August 1990, she spent her childhood in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape, she had four male siblings and was the only girl. She quickly learnt to be astute and cunning as she lost her mom in grade 8 and never got the opportunity to get to know her late mom as they had no relationship with her mom. As a young woman she was forced to mature and this lead to the most important moment in Asithandile’ life when she accepted the Lord as her saviour.

Asithandile always had a personal relationship with music, she was actively involved the the church choir and eventually became head vocalist in the choir. She went onto becoming a local celebrity; performing at Funerals, Weddings, Parties and other community gatherings.

Like many artists the road to fame and discovery doesn't ever come easy, however there is always a moment when artists are given an opportunity and this is when big breaks occur. Siyabonga Hlekani an internationally acclaimed producer had discovered Asithandile and guided her through the recording of her album including her single; “Carry me”. The also Album titled: “Carry Me” was released in August 2018 and available on all major platforms and outlets.
