The kids aren't hers. Since she was a sophomore in college, she has been giving up half her living expenses to help village kids she has no connections to.
She sends them $500 per month per child and has been supporting 11 children so far. In order to afford to support these kids, she started her own bracelet business. She make the bracelets and package orders in the morning and in the evening livestream.
When the man first heard the story he didn't believe her. What's in it for her? When she pulled out a letter written by one of the children she supports, he could tell how much it meant to her.
