This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2021 Mazda CX-3.In the US, the 2021 model will be the last year for this CX-3 but in Canada, it continues on, at least for now. Lets take a look, see what you get in this sub-compact SUV and if the overall package is worth the purchase. I’ll give you the facts and let you decide. The CX-3 comes with a 2L 4 cylinder, a 6-speed automatic transmission with 148 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque. On the base model in Canada, a 6-speed manual is available, standard FWD. One up from the base has optional AWD and the top GT trim standard AWD. There is no 6-speed manual in the US and there is only one trim called Sport. In Canada, the CX-3 comes standard with a 7” touchscreen, Apple Carplay & Android Auto, cloth seats, manual driver and passenger seats, halogen headlights, 16” wheels and blind spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert. LED headlights come standard in the US. One up from the base, gets you heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. Add the luxury package for $1500 CAD to get the sunroof, and leatherette upholstery. Standard features on the top GT trim include, 18” wheels, leatherette, power driver’s seat, driver’s seat memory, 7-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Apple Carplay, LED fog lights, headlights and taillights.
