On this day in 1967, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh attended the Chelsea Flower Show.

The Royal couple were joined by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, his mother, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, and the Duchess’ sister, Princess Paul of Yugoslavia.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla are expected to attend the Chelsea Flower Show this year, which has been hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society since 1913.
