I love the freedom that comes from mixing a Balearic set. So many different influences coming together to create a sound truly unique to the Islands. I can't mix a Balearic set without adding "Tears for Fears - Johnny Panic," for me its such an easy track to use in any situation.

The beauty of Balearic music is its uncanny ability to transcend time and genres. Where else could you get the likes of Grace Jones, UB40, The Brothers Johnson, 808 State, Bocca Juniors, Kate Bush, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Level 42 and Robert Miles coming together to create one complete mood that sounds so warm and inviting?

No other style has this musical freedom at its heart but still managers to bind a very specific sound that can easily be recognised as a Balearic Vibe!!!!
