Labour's Rushanara Ali has resigned as homelessness minister.In a letter to the prime minister, she said remaining in the role would be "a distraction from the ambitious work of this government".
It comes after the i Paper reported on Thursday that she had evicted her tenants before hiking up the rent on her east London property by £700.
