Peacock Park's official name is Central Park. It is set near the Bole sub city, that is the modern and residential part of Addis Ababa. People like going to this park for a walk and to relax, as there are some relaxing facilities there. You can see their local wedding ceremonies as the park is very popular for this. There are also some interesting indigenous plants.
The city is relocated the Lion Zoo Park to a new site at Peacock Park in the Bole area of the capital. The 102 million birr deal between the city administration and local firm Defense Construction Enterprise was signed on 16 April.
