As winter sets in here in Eastern Canada, I decided to experiment with an indoor macro photography idea using my kids’ Orbeez (water beads). I placed them at the bottom of a glass, added water, then topped it with oil for a mesmerizing effect.Using my Amaran Ace 25c light at full power, I shot at 1/3200s and f/8, capturing stunning details. This setup turns tiny objects into something that looks vast—like a galaxy in a glass. Give it a try and see what creative results you can get!
