In this episode of Electronic Basics we will be having a closer look at colour ring inductors aka axial inductors. Now I had a kit of them laying around for 10 years now and never used them. So in this video I will put them to the test in order to find out what they are really capable of. That includes different application tests and measurements including saturation current.
