People gathered at the Flint Children’s Museum to celebrate the Rx Kids 1-year anniversary on Wednesday, January 29.It's been one year since the program was launched to help moms and babies during pregnancy and first year of life.
In addition to the Mayor's singing, remarks were also given by Rx Kids co-directors Dr. Mona Hanna and Luke Shaefer, Ridgway White, CEO of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, and Aron Sousa, Dean of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and two mothers who benefited from the program.
The event included a photoshoots, coloring tables, cupcakes, teddy bears and games. (Ayrton Breckenridge | MLive.com)
