📝: mgk put on a surprise pop-up show at Turner's Bar in Indianapolis on August 12, 2025. The pop-up show was free. After the show, mgk gave heartfelt advice to a fan who lost a baby.

"I lost a baby and I named him after you," a fan told mgk. "You released 'your name forever' on his birthday. I wanted to tell you that."

"That's a hard one," mgk said. "But you gotta just free yourself from that weight. I'm sorry, brother. Just like me, you got what happened to me too. And you just stick with what you believe and you have faith, and that light's gonna come find yourself, you know, 'cause it's gonna come find you. That soul is in the ethers still. That soul will come back down. There's no time. They have no time up there. There's no concept of time up there, you know what I mean? The timing is gonna be all, it's all divine timing. So you just keep praying and keep smiling. Love is the ultimate frequency. So you two just stay loving each other. Honestly, 80% of people are supposed to break up after something like that. That's the statistic of that. But don't be a statistic, you know what I mean? Be a champion and be strong and you be strong for her. Hold her down, and you guys keep praying on that soul to come find you. And don't worry about the timing. That soul's gonna have an actual birthday, and it's not gonna be that song [mgk's song 'your name forever']. It's not gonna be the birthday of that song or... or that baby might come back down and be born exactly on that same day, and you'll be smiling instead of crying next time. Just have faith."
