In this video, I will show you how to simulate TA cloning and Lucigen’s GC cloning in SnapGene.

TA and GC Cloning are two simple cloning techniques that do not require restriction enzymes. Instead, the procedures rely on the natural addition of A or G overhangs to the 3 prime end of PCR products by some DNA polymerase enzymes. These overhangs enable PCR products to be ligated into linearized vectors containing complementary T or C overhangs.
