Reason for 5/10: The reason I gave it this rating is because metal detecting is a lot harder than it looks. Although you see a lot of people online finding cool things all the time, that's not the reality for many other people. Because everything I found was in a span of over three hours. I spent around $140 on the metal detector only making about $20 back within that time frame. But if you’re doing this for fun, I would recommend trying it! If you actually want to make money, metal detecting might not be the best way. It also highly depends on the location you go metal detecting at. you might be able to find more valuable things in different locations.
