SCP-035, also known as "The Possessive Mask," is an anomalous object in the SCP Foundation's universe. It is a white, porcelain comedy mask that exudes a highly corrosive and degenerative liquid, causing damage to anything it comes into contact with. SCP-035 has the ability to possess any individual who wears it, taking over their body and consciousness. The mask grants the wearer heightened intelligence and persuasive abilities but eventually causes severe mental and physical decay, leading to death. SCP-035 is highly manipulative, often using its victims to try to escape containment and spread chaos. It is kept in a sealed glass case at a high-security site, and all personnel interacting with it must be psychologically screened and protected to prevent manipulation.
