FJ Cruiser LED mirror light mod, and how to remove side mirror, using a complete kit from Freedom Retrofits. The V2 FJ Cruiser Mirror Light Drop-in Kit upgrade is so easy to install, anyone can do it!
We change the outdated side mirror marker lights on our Toyota FJ Cruiser to modern LEDs. Unlike the common mirror light mod where just the bulb is changed to LED, we switch out the entire light assembly with a kit from Freedom Retrofits.

Just like our first version, our kits are included everything you need to replace your old hazy mirror light with a solid new LED upgrade. With our MJF printed brackets, the install is seamless and fits exactly like OEM. Our new Freedom LED Module allows the KC cyclone to run on a DRL mode which is dimmed down from the full brightness for road safety. Our module also allows for blinker integration as well, so you can truly get the functionality the FJ deserves.
Our kit includes:
- Pair MJF Printed brackets
- Pair of KC V2 Cyclones (White/amber)
- (NEW) Freedom LED module
- Stainless Steel nut and bolt to secure cyclone
