Christmas in 1993, that's when I got my very first console: Sega Mega Drive, aka Genesis in the US. Of course everyone else in the school had Nintendos and in my heart (and by fact) I knew those machines outperformed MD in many areas such as graphics and sound. But instead of cutely drawn mushroom characters Sega bet its money on violence and pure speed, which actually paid off (Sonic, Mortal Kombat etc). Gunstar Heroes is a fine example from Segas golden era, hooking the player up with intense action and excellent score, this particular track being very metal down to its roots. And as you may know, those kinds of things must be metallized! So here's my take on metal cover version 🤘 Thanks for watching!
