The Power of Pink

The “Power of Pink” is an innovative art project, created by local artist Leila Al Marashi harnessing the power of creativity to promote breast cancer awareness to women across the UAE.

This project is not just about building awareness, but also about taking a very personal experience with the color pink and
creating an exhibit to express what the feminine consciousness entails, what women endure, and why pink is used to make them feel better.

This art installation was inspired by Al Marashi’s personal experience after she lost her mother to breast cancer two years back.
